FASTMD Races Into IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge
FASTMD Racing is a professional race program competing in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) series in 2021 with the #84 FASTMD Healthcare Solutions Audi R8 GT4. Since FASTMD's IMSA debut at Daytona in 2019, the team has competed in IMPC for 2 full seasons as well as World Challenge TCR events. Based out of Tampa, Florida, the team is lead by FASTMD Owner & Chief surgeon Dr. Farhan Siddiqi and CEO Dr. Jay Wijnmaalen. The FASTMD Racing driver line-up for the 2021 and 2022 seasons has lead pro driver, James Vance, at the helm for closing driver duties and the young driving star, Alex Papadopulos, for opening driver duties. The engineering department is led by ex-IndyCar/open wheel engineer, Remi Lanteigne, who will lead the experienced crew.
